Chemical Bonding
Fleissner offers a Chemical Bonding Process for new lines and upgrade for existing lines.

Besides the traditional binder bonding process Fleissner has developed a high speed process where the web is preentangled via the Fleissner AquaJet.

Other variations:
Double-sided impregnation with 1 mixer
Double-sided impregnation with 2 mixers

Advantages of foam application compared to liquid application:
Less wet pick-up => less drying capacity
Wide range of application down to minimum application
Surface impregnation and through-impregnation
More uniform binder distribution in the surface
Less risk of migration during drying
Improved volume of nonwoven
Good textile hand

Advantages of the Highspeed binder bonding process:
Speed of up to 200 m/min
Higher tensile strength of the web
Better distribution of the binder in the dewatered moist web
Less binder pick-up necessary due to pre-entanglement of carded webs

Process:
Light pre-entangling of carded webs with AquaJet technology
De-wartering of the web by suction
Chemical bonding with Highspeed foam padder
Drying with can dryer and TAD dryer

Applications:
Hygiene
Technical textiles
Wipes
Medical applications
